What Makes Keene Family Dental and Dr. Alan Ross Different

You can easily recognize the differences between luxury and economy cars, top retailers and discount stores, fancy restaurants versus fast food. Yet, many people fail to realize that those same differences exist in dentistry.

Have you ever had an appointment at a Dentist office where you spent 99% of the time with a hygienist and actually got to see the dentist for about 30 seconds? That doesn’t happen at Keene Family Dental. Dr. Ross treats his patients as individuals, does complete examinations, makes time to listen and answer questions fully, and completes a treatment plan that reflects your goals and budget. Isn’t that what you really want from your dentist?

As soon as you step into our office, you’ll know you’re in a different kind of dental office. From our living-room-like setting to our warm, friendly staff, you’ll notice the difference.

Our Expertise Extends Beyond the Usual

Few dentists have the expertise to deliver the superior level of care and types of services we offer. In fact, our office is among the top 5% of dental offices in the entire country.

Dr. Alan Ross

After graduating from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in the top 5% of the class, Dr. Ross was accepted at the prestigious Mount Zion Hospital-University of California Residency Program. This provided additional training in Advanced Prosthodontics, Periodontal & Oral Surgery, Anesthesiology & Sedation techniques, and treatment of the medically compromised. Dr. Ross also trained in the “Pankey” and “Dawson” style of dentistry.  Dentists who have completed this postgraduate training are very comprehensive and detailed yet oriented to treat   individuals uniquely according to each person’s specific needs and personality. Unlike your typical dental office, we don’t believe in cookie cutter approaches.  We treat you like the individual you are with custom treatment approaches tailored to your needs, desires and budget.

Relaxation and Comfort Aids

Dr. Ross backs up his prestigious training and talents with the best technology and patient comfort  tools. For example, with a computer monitor over each dental chair, chose from 100 channels of cable TV to entertain you while your dental work is being accomplished. With the latest in electronic analgesia and new local anesthetics you will be comfortable while state of the art restorative techniques are used.

The Most Recent Diagnostic Dental X-ray Technology

This new computer driven dental x-ray camera at Keene Family Dental means no gagging (no film, sensors or plates cutting into your gums) as nothing goes in your mouth.! A lead shield is not required because it uses less radiation than most televisions! The images enable Dr Ross to easily view infection, cavities, cracks etc. and if you wish, you can also view these images and your situation. The improved diagnostic images can mean fewer or less frequent X-rays.

Minimal to No Waiting Time

Unlike many dental offices, we do not double book our patients, as we respect your time.
The average waiting time is about  2 to 10 minutes.

Our No Surprises Policy

Once we complete the examination, we share our findings with you and together we come up with a plan.  The plan is always customized and shaped in accordance to your desires and budget. We make an agreement as to what your dental treatment will entail and everything is given to you in writing. We will also arrange a payment plan so you’ll know what your treatment will cost and what the payment arrangement will be.
